Huntsman World Senior Games Wins National Award
The Huntsman World Senior Games was awarded the Excellence in Games Promotion Media Award by the National Senior Games Association. The award was presented in a ceremony at the national convention of the association. Winners are decided by a vote of peer organizations.
“It’s an honor for the Games to receive this award from the NSGA,” said Games CEO Kyle M Case. “It’s a humbling feeling to be honored by your peers.”
The Excellence in Promotion Award honors the Games’ efforts in advertising and marketing. The winning submission consisted of the advertising pieces that the Games uses during the year to spread the word about the Games throughout the world including the official program, handbook, newsletter and results book.
“We feel like we have a very strong brand that we work hard to maintain and even expand, so this award is very special to us,” added Case.
This year, 2016, marks the 30th anniversary of the Games.
The Huntsman World Senior Games is a member of the NSGA and qualifies athlete to compete in the National Senior Games on the even numbered years.
