Registration Now Open

Tue Mar 01, 2016

March 1, for the past several years, has marked the day that the Huntsman World Senior Games opens its doors to accept registrations from Athletes dn Official Fans. This year, at 12:00:01 a.m., Tuesday morning, the switch was flipped and registration officially opened.

“It’s amazing how fast registrations come in at the beginning of the registration season,” said Kyle M Case, Games, CEO. “People literally wait up or set their alarms to make sure they register early and get into the events they want. This is especially true of Pickleball.”

Some of the urgency is caused by the participation caps that are imposed because of venue limitations.

“We only have so many Pickleball courts and Bowling lanes in the community,” said John “Rosey” Rosander, Director of Sports for the Games. “We’re limited by the number of Athletes we can accommodate and that makes people move fast when it comes to registration.”

RegistrationOnline registration is the fastest way to reserve a spot at the Games. Those interested should visit the Registration Page. If athletes have ever registered for the Games between 1987 and 2014 (over the internet or by mail), they have an account set up for them.  If Athletes know their Username and Password for the account, they can type it in the box on the left found on the Registration Page.  If they do not know the Username and Password, they should click on "Forgot Username and/or Password?" and the information will be sent to the email address that the Games has on file.  If athletes do not have an email address on file or if they do not receive the email, they should call (800-562-1268) or email (hwsg@seniorgames.net) the office for assistance.

Once logged in, athletes will be able to register for the 2015 Games and their “Years Attended” will be automatically updated.  Once registered, athletes may log into their account at any time to update or change their Username, Password, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address or shirt size. To add or remove events or sports, please call the Games office at 800-562-1268.

Athletes who use the online registration system will receive immediate confirmation of their registration, sent to the email address they provide.

The Huntsman World Senior Games is the world’s largest annual multi-sport athletic event for athletes age 50 and better.  The event takes place each October in St. George Utah and offers over 27 different sports, including Swimming, Cycling and Triathlon.
