Shotgun Sports

As the Huntsman World Senior Games continue to grow, it becomes more and more common that sports and divisions within sports reach their participation caps before the general closing date of September 1. Shotgun Sports has done just that by registering nearly 140 total athletes. Several other sports have also reached caps and are closed to new registrations including Pickleball and Bowling. Softball and Volleyball are also closed to new teams, although individual athletes can still be added to team rosters.

The Games set a goal earlier this year, as a celebration of its 30th anniversary, to register at least 10,950 total athletes, which comes out to one athlete for each day in a 30 year time period. Athletes and friends
of the Games can continue to help by inviting their own friends and family to register for the Games by visiting www.seniorgames.net.

The Huntsman World Senior Games is the largest annual multi-sport event in the world for athletes age 50 and above. The event takes place each October in St. George, Utah, USA, and hosts nearly 11,000 participants competing in their choice of 30 different sports.
